It took me sometime to be able to let go of my clamshell ibook (actually I ordered a 1ghz g4 ibook yesterday). Even though it was bulky and had a low res screen, it was very comfortable, the most comfortable notebook I have ever used. The g3 powerbooks were also very good, at the time I got a very good deal on the clamshell, other wise I was looking at getting the powerbook. One thing I don't like about the new ibooks and powerbooks, other than the squared corners and terrible button, is the fact light comes through the apple logo on the back of the lcd. I noticed this with my mother's ibook g4 and my boss's 12" powerbook. You notice it more on sunny days when the screen is off because you see the apple logo crisply on the screen. --Jeremy On Thu, 23 Dec 2004 11:44:49 -0800, Sean Weijand <sdweijand at shaw.ca> wrote: > what i really liked about my old wallstreet that i hate about my ibook > g4 is the trackpad button. the ibook trackpad button is the cheapest > feeling piece of crap i have ever used.
