If it is still slow then create a new account on your machine. After logging into the new account, use it for a bit. (If you want to go online you'll need to reset the network configuration.) If it doesn't seem slow then you know that something in your usual account is the problem and you should then take a look at your startup items (are they all up to date?) and run a program like MacJanitor to clean up your caches. You might also want to use the activity monitor to see what process(es) are using up the CPU resources. david
