[P1] Newbie question: iBook upgrades?

Jean-Paul:

The iBooks (as well as the Ai's & Ti's G4's) are not very upgradeable. 
The ram is easy, as well as adding an Airport card. The hard drive is 
also user replaceable if you are comfortable in doing so. The processor 
is soldered on the motherboard, so this cannot be upgraded and the 
optical drives are difficult (although, not impossible) to change out.
