[P1] Has anyone experienced excess fan use after updating to 10.3.2 or Battery update 1.1 ?

I was unable to install 10.3.1 on my iBook 900Mhz.

As for the fan, I can hear it in my iBook 700Mhz, but never in my 900Mhz.  I am also having a heat issue.  Fortunately, I did invest in the Apple Care Protection Plan.
