Oh boy --I'm taking it from Peter that Panther doesn't support PPC or FAT 68K Wannabe, yet.

Matt, Small Moose Ltd, offered this fine info about Wannabe:

> That's [steer to and use your regular Favorites HTML URL collection] a great tip Bill, I've been using the SRC package all this time to
> google search my way to my usual IE favourites.

Excellent. We've mentioned Wannabe's great Google entry, it's speed on clicking a text URL referral --web site opens as fast as a hard drive file for us 56K people, the drop down menu that lets you open the page in any other full browser with one click, it's great use on forums and downloading apps and images.

My opening access to Wannabe is an alias to that Google SRC. As Wannabe takes up less than a MB on 9.2.2/VM on --I might as well put the Wannabe/Google SRC alias in my Start Up Folder.

If you are on an old familiar website --say VersionTracker or MacUpDate --but are confused without the familiar HTML --you can download the green [IMG]s --usually 20K GIFs --and get your bearings as to where the "Dowload" button is. :)

If Wannabe is as good as this for me --I do want to email Ruffin Bailey <rufbo1 at comcast.net> in the hopes he can educate me to MacLynx great usefulness. Ruffin says free MacLynx is even more helpful to him. Still being OS 9 --like Matt --I don't know anything about Un*x/Linux commands --even though I have a little PC kit now with a little Linux magazine distro on it. \-|
