[P1] Logic board, estimates of probability of success of repair

And it has shockingly had good life because of the firwire/usb and the new 512ram sticks and airport.  I have a new pb 12 inch which I love, I just can't seem to part with the clamshell. The airport reception in particular is astounding.

The clamshell model was designed with the education market in mind; it
was built to take a great deal more abuse than the later iBook models.
(That's part of the reason the screen is better protected on the
sides.)
