[P1] Keycap fell off - how to put back on?

I managed to ping off my escape key, while faffing around with putting 
the keyboard back. I found that it wouldn't simply snap back on: it had 
a sort of scissor arrangement and I had to use a pin to keep one of 
these 'legs' in position while replacing the key.
