Mbox and ibook

Hi all,

I'm interested in buying an Mbox (external sound card) for use with a
(12") G4 ibook. I'd like to hear from anyone who's used the bundled
software (Protools LE, Reason Adapted, etc) in conjunction with an Mbox
on an ibook. 

How do you find it? Does the 256kb L2 cache cut it? Ram? etc...
