Howdy all... My Snow iBook (600mhz) with built-in airport has been flaking out for 6 or so months. The wireless antenna likes to die without warning. It was pretty bad a few months ago, but has only happened 3 times in the past month or two. But one was yesterday and one was today. I'm just typing along happily, and the signal dies. I close the lid (putting it to sleep), wake it back up again, and it's good again. Although, oddly, the ONE base station it can never find is my crappy linksys, so I have to reboot that thing too. Anything I can do to easily remedy this problem? I've been under the keyboard to check the connection to the card a few times.. I suspect it's somewhere in the hinge (antenna runs up the screen, right?) It's no longer under Applecare, and I am going out of the country for 5 months in about 3 weeks, so I would like to avoid creating a mess I can't fix in a relatively short timeframe.. thanks. - reid
