[P1] Portable printers

I use the HP DeskJet 450cbi portable inkjet, and it works extremely well
with USB on Macs and Parallel or USB on Windows. I use it on my iBook 500
running 10.2.8 It's a little pricey compared to the other portables on the
market (about $350 I think), but the quality is as good as my larger
non-portable printers.

The only problem I've had with it is that occassionally the paper misfeeds
if you stuff the paper handler to the max, so it is better to keep about 20
sheets in the paper feeder and not stuff it full.

The only other option I would like to see on it is a scanner module, which
is not available. I think the Canons have a scanner option.

It runs on battery or AC adaptor, and the battery is quite good.... I've
never ran it down until I run about 50 sheets through it.

Hi all. Am looking for a small portable printer to go with my ibook, running
osx 10.2.8. Can anyone offer any recommendations. Only need black and white.
Have seen the HP 350, and the Brother m-print, but not sure if they work
with OSX, and USB instead of the usual parallel PC port. Thanks in advance
for any advice. Chris
