Semi OT: has anyone else had trouble with iPhoto since uprading to iLife 04

I keep running into some peculiar things that make me wish I had saved that
money and not upgraded to iLife 04

The more serious one is that now iPhoto bounces a bit in the dock when it
feels my cam or I click it .. And then it just stops and  offers me to send
a report to apple (which I actually did) ...

I played a bit around with iphoto library manager .. And I get it running
with some libraries .. But the worst thing is that the new iPhoto wants to
upgrade your old libraries, meaning you can never go back to an older
version of iphoto ...

This is especially a pain in the rear when you burnt nice iPhoto CDs ....
Since the upgrade changes cannot be written on that CD .. You are basically
forced to copy the CD .. Launch it from HD ... And then upgrade (performance
of iPhoto 4 still questionable) and then burn a new CD ...

What is that ?? Did some windows troll sneak in ???

Anyone else has that ? Any solution found ?
