This morning while eating a bowl of cereal, I was perusing a Radio Shack circular that I received in the mail yesterday and noticed a Linksys 802.11b wireless router for $49. I didn't look closely enough to see if they did the Staples trick of putting the price after rebate in large type and the real price in type too small for these old eyes to see, but that's the advertised price from them. They also had an 802.11g wireless router, but it was more in the $79 or $89 range. That's about what I paid for an 802.11b about two years ago from TigerDirect.com. Cost is no longer a reason to not go wireless. Charles Pearce <charlesp at ksu.edu>
