[P1] iBook decision - 900MHz G3 vs. current models?

I'm not sure that's a wise decision; my G4 iBook had to have the logic 
board and assorted other items replaced within its first month.  I 
think I'd be very uneasy if this were my personal computer and I didn't 
have Apple Care.
