[P1] touchpad too sensitive on yours like mine? (ibook G3800)

This may be a long shot, but are you experiencing static electricity 
shocks anywhere? If you have an anti-static mat near the computer, try 
touching that before going near the trackpad. If your fingers are 
holding a static charge, the trackpad may react to their being within 
an inch or less of the trackpad.
