backlight replacement

my screen is really getting dim now and is starting to flicker on my indigo
clamshell and i dont think im brave/stupid enough to try to replace it on my
own. does anyone know anywhere near southern new jersey to get this fixed at
a somewhat reasonable rate? every place i've looked or called wants to
replace the whole lcd for $300 and up. the backlight sells for $11.
hopefully someone can help before i have to resort to hooking it up to my
living room tv to use it.
