Jag (and Panther) are more picky about RAM than 10.1 was. My bet is if you remove the RAM upgrade you'll be able to upgrade to Jag and use the computer. That will be your proof that your current RAM upgrade isn't Jaguar safe. We saw this problem a lot at Jag and Panther upgrade times david
