[iBook] Does anyone have an iBook that smells?

I'm not quite familiar with what cummin smells like, but I did notice my
iBook began to smell about a year ago (I think its about 2 years old now).
It does come from the keyboard area. The closest thing I came up with is a
"warm electrical" smell, not quite burning electrical, but on its way. I'm
not sure if its from being hot sometimes, yes, ibooks do tend to get very
hot sometimes, or what its from. I've left it go, but this sparked my
curiosity.

I am glad I came across this post - my ibook has just started smelling
- after 2.5 years.

It has taken me a while to figure out that it is the keyboard and not what
is underneath it.

I can only describe the smell as being similar to the spice 'cumin'.  
My mac friends agree it smells like cumin. Very bizarre and very noticeable.

My mind is put at rest that it is safe thanks to your message.  I guess I'll
just have to put up with it!
