[iBook] Does anyone have an iBook that smells?

I pulled my battery out and it still smells like new plastic which leads me
to think that it's not the cause. I'll let it run off the power cord for a
while and see if it still smells. The only thing that could be battery
related is if the charging mechanism is causing the smell.

If you take out the battery and run it plugged into the wall, does it still
smell? If not, it's the battery. Just a thought. Batteries have been
problematic on some iBook models.
My 2¢
