[iBook] Query re. strange font display

OS X 10.3.5 has some sort of font display bug, but I don't know what
it is since I seem to be unaffected, nor have I read up on it enough
to really know.  Maybe that's it?  10.3.6 is just around the corner,
maybe that will fix it.
