Well, after going through the ol' *nix runaround (to install X you need Y, to install Y you need Z v2.9.xx, to install Z v2.....ad nauseum) I got both psync and MacOSX::File installed. However, now when I try to call psync I get this error: Can't locate MacOSX/File.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /System/Library/Perl/5.8.1/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/5.8.1 /Library/Perl/5.8.1/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Library/Perl/5.8.1 /Library/Perl /Network/Library/Perl/5.8.1/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Network/Library/Perl/5.8.1 /Network/Library/Perl .) at /usr/local/bin/psync line 14. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/bin/psync line 14. Can anyone make sense of this? I realize that this is the iBook list, but this is all about getting psync to back up to my external Firewire HD, so hopefully this will be useful to others as well. I am grateful for any help with this.
