If you are running OS X it does not matter what processor your machine has, just share the printer on the machine it is connected to. You also shouldn't have a problem printing to it from the OS 9 machine, set it up using the LaserWriter 8 driver and LPR. -----Original Message----- From: Barnard Madsen [mailto:bmadsen at comcast.net] Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2004 1:18 AM To: iBook at listserver.themacintoshguy.com Subject: [iBook] Wireless printing Have an iBook 500 dual USB running OS 10.2.8 with an AirPort card and a Belkin 4-port wireless 802.11b router. I have an iMac 333mhz and a Power Computing clone linked to the router via Ethernet. The iMac is running OS 10.2.8, and the clone is running OS 9.0. The iMac is connected via a four-port USB router (NOT USB 2.0) to a Canon i560 printer. Right now I unplug the USB cable and plug it into my iBook to print. I'd like to lie in bed upstairs from the printer and print wirelessly from my iBook. Any suggestions (I've looked on the Apple support site, but its iBook wireless networking solutions only seem to cover current (G4) iBooks, not my G3)? Thanks in advance for any help.
