I fear this is a stupid question with an obvious answer, but I can't find it. I wanted to download free or cheap ftp software for very occasional use and found a couple of recommendations in previous postings to this list for Cyberduck, which is free. So I downloaded it. So now I have a disk image in my downloads folder with the application and a few supporting (faq, website link, etc.) files--in other words, not an installer. I tried copying (by drag and drop) the files on the disk image to a new Cyberduck folder I created in the Applications folder. Then, when I tried to open Cyberduck from that folder, it hung up and I had to force quit. So my husband suggested I try opening the application from within the disk image. It does, indeed, open from there, but surely I'm not supposed to keep the disk image? What to do? Thanks in advance for any illumination, Joy p.s. I'm on a 600Mhz dual-USB G3 iBook with OS 10.2.8, if that matters. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Joy Freeman ~ from manuscript to bound book ~ Editorial, Design, and Production Services joy at pagesbyjoy.com
