[iBook] Alt-Ctl-Del for Macs?

Activity Monitor app is located in the Applications
folder/Utilities/Activity monitor.app and is similar to the task manager in
Windows...it gives you processor load info, memory info, disk read/write
info, HD space info, and network info all in a nice Graphic user interface,
additionally it shows information on all processes (root, user, active,
etc...

You can kill processes here or use force quit in the apple menu from any
app.

To get some peace from pop under windows you could look at this site for add
ons to Safari...

The page suggests that it will stay up to date by entries in the blog for
new additions or changes.

Or have you given Firefox or Camino or even Sunrise browsers a try?
