[iBook] Recommendations for new battery?

I believe that it is almost time for me to get a new battery for my 
dual USB 600 MHz icebook. Battery life has gone down to <10 minutes. No 
matter how long I charge it, it only registers one flashing light.

Should I just go the easy way and get a replacement from Apple ($116 at 
the educational price), or are there higher-capacity or much cheaper 
alternatives out there?
