Mark, Have you tried removing the battery and plugging in the power adapter? I have an old Duo that will work with the adapter, but only if I remove the defunct battery. HTH, Joy -- Yes, tried that and it was still cutting out. Power lead with a friend now so can't give it a shot. Think I'll need to drop off batteries for him to charge in the meantime. M
