Yes, check it out then throw it away.  It's horrible.  The frame sizes 
and rates are abominable, at least on the Mac.  My impression is that 
they're not much better on the PC.  I know that when I first showed 
iChat AV to a PC friend of mine, he nearly had a stroke when he saw how 
much better the quality was.
