Go to this page on Apple's site: http://www.apple.com/macosx/upgrade/

On the right hand side of that page there is a link to this order form:
http://images.apple.com/macosx/pdf/tigermediaexchangev2.pdf

To exchange the DVD for CDs costs $10. Hope this helps; I thought I 
better pass it along in case the whole Firewire trick doesn't work out.
