[iBook] iChat problems on Tiger?

Hello, Folks;

A friend is interested in getting a new/newly used Titanium 17" p- 
book with as many bells and whistles as he can. His interest is in  
teaching remotely (he's a Chinese astrologer/Feng Shui  
consultant<there's a lot more to Chinese astrology than the Chinese  
restaurant placemat stuff most people are familiar with>) using iChat  
AV. In researching this for myself, I ran across some issues  
regarding bugs with iChat and Tiger.

Though it didn't seem to be a very widespread problem, the people  
complaining about it did make it seem like it was a big issue,  
especially since Apple didn't address the problem to their liking  
with an update.

Does anybody know about this, or can anyone direct me to useful link?
