Yeah, that's my take on it, too. In their defense, however, they aren't using model paints or dyes. The paints they use are similar to the polymers used to paint motor vehicles, so the price one pays is for a pretty professional job. If I had 400 bucks to drop on an iBook paint job, I'd consider sending it off to them.
