[iBook] Power cord color on a 2005 ibook

Good afternoon all.

I have a power bank of switches & I turn it off to reboot my modem &  
everything else goes off as well. Well, the power cord that plugs  
into my Ibook usually glows green but now it is orange but it is  
still charging. It went from 94% to 100%. When I first plug it in it  
is green for a few seconds then turns orange.

What gives with this thing?
