Thanks for the replies.  I decided to go with a ZyXEL AG-225h.  This is a USB 
adapter with a built in hot spot finder, and is only ~$10 more than the Mac USB 
adapter.  They have Mac drivers for 10.3 and 10.4 with a Preference Pane for 
setting up and connecting.  It work great on my iMac and I will be in El Paso to 
set it up on my Sis-in-law's iBook this weekend.
