[iBook] Asking for advice about a CD Combo drive

Hei Stephen:

Thanks for your advise. I can see under "ATA" in  System Profiler I see 
the optical driver.  I would like to ask you , what I shall do after 
starting in safe mode? After switch off the computer can I start again 
as usually?
