[iBook] G4 logic board in G3 iBook?

My son dropped a speaker on my daughter's 12" G3 iBook (no, I don't  
know how he managed that) and managed to wreck the keyboard and -- as  
far as I can tell -- the logic board underneath. I figured if I'm  
going to repair it, I might as well upgrade it at the same time, if  
possible.

So can any of the hardware gurus tell me whether you can put a G4  
logic board in a G3 iBook?
