[iBook] re.: install os x 10.4, optical drive gone on dual USB ibook 500 MB

Insert the DVD or CD into the drive. When it mounts on the desktop,  
right-click on it and select "Get Info", or left-click on it once and  
hold down the "Apple key " and the "I key".
