I don't know what the OP has but it isn't an 800 MHz G4 iBook. There ain't no such critter. The slowest G4 iBook was 933 MHz.  Even if it was you could still install Leopard with a simple patch.  I ran my 1.33 MHz G4 iBook on Leopard and it was just fine.
