Request your assistance in the following problem I am having:

I have three (3) items on the desktop now which consists of the following:
(1) Hard Drive
(2) External Drive
(3) iDisk

I am trying to drag folders such as Working Disk - Downloads - etc and
I receive this message: The item ***** could not be moved because "Desktop"
cannot be modified.  (Authenticate)   (OK)
Any assistance would be appreciated.
