[iMac] Super mouse acting oddly

[Pat]

I bought both with my iMac, but the mouse drove me mad and ate  
batteries like mad, and then just quit working, so I got both off and  
am happy as a clam.  Only figured out too late that I could have  
fussed and gotten a replacement...

Hope someone can help.
