Combining two Libraries.

Hi list,

I'm quite sure this question must have been asked in the past but can anyone
give me a one liner on my best option for combining songs from my laptop to
my desktop.  Many songs are the same but there are new ones I want to make
sure are kept.  Will I be able to maintain any playlists from my laptop?
