multiple libraries/iPods

Is there a way to set up multiple music libraries and switch between them?

I was wondering if it would be possible to have more than 1 iPod synch, and
each to its own library so that I could have different selections on
different iPods.

I have plenty of space for music on the computer, I already have my songs
moved to a large external firewire hard drive.
