Album Song Order

I ripped Sgt. Pepper in iTunes and while listening on my iPod I realized that that little vocal garbage at the end of the album (after "A day in the life") was there. I always cut that off back in the days of cassettes.

So, I downloaded Sound Studio, created an AIFF file editing out the part I didn't want and converted it in iTunes to ACC.

I then added the info tags and track numbers in the info box so it would be in the Sgt. Pepper album in iTunes (deleting the old "Day in the Life").

Problem is the song which should be the last one on the album is now the first. I can rearange it properly in iTunes by sorting with the "Track#" column but that doesn't synch with the iPod which reverts to "Album" song sorting.

Anybody know where the info is hid that does the "Album" sorting and how I can get "Day in the Life" back at end of the album?
