When I buy the absolutely cheapest CDR media (for example, Imation), I
dend to get ocassional (1 in 20?) discs that just won't burn. I've never
had a problem with an audio CD after it has been burned without errors.
(OK, in the last 3 years, that is.)

So, I am tempted to say that media brands are not all that important when
burning Audio CDs.

Others' expriences may vary...
