[iTunes] Personal experiences with FM Transmitters?

I used the first version of the DLO Transpod for my 3G iPod. I liked
it a lot. It does shake a bit depending on the placement of your
cigarrette lighter and how much you need to extend the arms. I like
the ease with which you can adjust the frequency.

Unfortunately, the original version doesn't fit the 60gig iPod photo.
So, I switched to a Monster iCarPlay (the version that can use any
station) and a cup holder. It also works well. My sense is that the
Transpod worked a little better. The combination of the iCar Play
(which also plugs in the cgarette lighter) and the cup holder (Belkin
TuneDok?) is a little more flexible and stable. However the iCar Play
is harder to adjust. You can pick any three stations for the presets.
However, it's a fidgety enough process that you really don't want to
do it while you're driving. This makes things awkward if you are
driving long distances and drive into an area where all of your
preselected stations are occupied.

My standard recommendation for anything like this is that you buy
from a store with a good return policy and check it out for yourself.
