I'm new to this list, so please forgive me if this has already been answered. I have an iPod nano. To compress some long spoken-word files that I wanted to listen to later, I saved them to iTunes (4.9) as podcast (32 kbps) AAC files and then loaded them on my iPod nano. When I finished needing them on my nano, I "deleted" them - or so I thought. They are not in fact deleted from the iPod, they just no longer appear on the iTunes listing of the contents of the iPod. Any suggestions for getting these files off the iPod, short of restoring (and erasing everything)? I really like the compression available from this podcast encoding, but I can't use it if it makes the resulting files undeletable. Thanks.
