Henri, I have an external drive on my Mac Mini. I had all sorts of problems at first when it was NTFS formatted because OS 10.4 still chokes up on NTFS a bit. If you are using a small enough drive, you might be able to format in FAT or FAT32 and not have the problem. You would actually only be sharing the files. However, your question is a bit unclear, you could share out the library over the network if you are on the same subnet. Is this the case? You wouldn't need to do file sharing. I cant tell from your question if you are considering actually physically moving the drive. A simple share of the library of the Mac on the same subnet doesn't require any special tools. I do this on the five machines at home. I'd like to have the library on an external drive that my wife's Windows computer can share with my Mac. How do I do it? _______________________________________________ iTunes mailing list iTunes at listserver.themacintoshguy.com http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/itunes Listmom is trying to clean out his closets!
