[iTunes] iPod question

Is this the place to ask an iPod question?

The past month or so my iPod will switch to shuffle by itself. This  
is very annoying since I use the iPod for audiobooks.
I have a feeling this might be happening when I unplug my iPod from  
my car.
Any thoughts on this? I bought the car about a month ago and had it  
wired for my iPod and I think that is about the time this started  
happening.
