[iTunes] Shuffle doesn't stay in Source List

Of all the comments I've read about iTunes 7, here and in Apple's Discussion
Forums, I've seen no mention of this: I can't seem to find a setting like we
had in iTunes 6.x to "Keep Device in Source List.

I liked to arrange my Shuffle playlists by dragging music/podcasts to the
"virtual" shuffle, before actually attaching it. It was much quicker, with
no spinning beach balls. Now I can't seem to find any option in the settings
page that would allow me to do this, and no discussions I've found mention
it.

Anybody know if this feature is gone for good?
