[iTunes] Cannot find Burner or software?????

I just updated iTunes 7.... whichever version is downloaded with  
Software Update on the Apple menu.

I am running an Intel iMac with Mac OS 10.4.10.

Just since I updated I am unable to burn disks in iTunes because when  
I press the "burn" button I get a window that indicates it cannot  
find either the disk burner or the software.
Anybody know what gives here? Toast has no problem finding and  
writing audio CD's on this machine.
