the only problem with changing the time on my computer to set the downloads is that I have to do the first download outside the golden time of 3-6 am... and that might be enough to put me into 'fair use' penalty for the next 24 hours or so. It's a more elegant solution than staying up all night, however, if I'm willing to pay that price for it.
