Is there any way to intermingle them, so I don't have to look in two places because I can't remember what kind of playlist I set up for the books? thanks No. You might want to use a special character at the beginnings of the playlists to differentiate them. For example, use a * character before smart playlists, or a - before regular ones. It'll be a good reminder. But what kind of iPod are you using? The nano and classic show different icons; for some reason the touch doesn't. The iPad does, though, so maybe this is something they'll be fixing in the update that's due in a couple of weeks.
