Hello, I am trying to convert 24 bit Flac files to Alac format (via Max program). The difference in file size, however, seems to be quite big. For example, what used to be a 51.7 Mb Flac file is now a 85.2 Mb Alac file and a 45.8 Mb file is now 75.6 Mb in size. Is there a way to still reduce the file size, for example, by re-running conversion to Alac from within iTunes? Or should I just accept it as a de-facto trade-off of Apple's lossless format? -- Best regards, Robert
